I Didn't Write a Title

Once begun is half done,

such a useful phrase I think

as I start to lose my gaze and blink;

my train of thought is derailing,

I’m considering just bailing;

do you ever have a hard time

finishing the shot with a lime

or is it only acts of the mind

that I tend to stop and fall behind;

I love to write and write

but try as I might I can’t seem

to wrap it up tight with a bow

and say, “there ya go, it’s done,”

because I don’t finish, my lazy bum,

and I want to write a happy ending

and I can get to the happy but the rest is still pending…
